Explore the Castle and discover it's fascinating history from the reconstructed kitchen, laundry and wine cellar to the gallery on the Weld family, owners since 1641. Climb the tower and see some spectacular views across the Purbecks. You can have fun in the indoor Children's Activity Room with the jigsaws and even build your own Castle or play 'pitch and putt' on the Castle lawn. Visitors can also enjoy the tranquillity of the nearby 18C Chapel and parkland walks or expel some energy in the Adventure Playground and try their luck on the aerial runway.

A stroll across the parkland will take you to the fun of the friendly Animal Farm where you can spend some time with many of the friendly residents. You may be lucky and even meet 'Sancho' reputed to be one of the oldest donkeys in Britain, as proud peacocks and geese strut by. There are rare Portland sheep to see, pot bellied pigs, pygmy goats and Indian Runner ducks with their comical upright waddle. You can stroke the Shetland ponies, meet our cuddly rabbits and even help out at feeding time.

At the end of the day relax in the Stable Cafe or browse for that special gift in the Courtyard Shop. Lulworth Castle - full of surprises come rain or shine.
